Sunday Worship Service

Adult Ministry
Kingdom Men, Kingdom Women, Kingdom Life, the
Singles' Ministry, College and Armed Forces Ministry and
a dynamic choir are the core adult growth opportunities
at LCC. |

Youth Ministry
LCC Youth Workers train, teach and disciple the youth of
the Lawndale neighborhoods, taking full advantage of the
church's gym, learning center, and other resources. |

Philippian Ministry
The Philippian Ministry was established to encourage
children and families in the North Lawndale Community
that have a parent or spouse incarcerated. It strives to
build long lasting relationships with the families, meet
spiritual, material, emotional, social and educational
needs and encourage the children and families to develop
a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. |

Hope House/Nehemiah
Discipleship House
Hope House was established to empower men who are
striving to reenter society after prison and/or
substance abuse to live for Jesus Christ. |

Stephen Ministry
This year our church undertook a huge opportunity by
establishing a Stephen Ministry, a lay caregiving
ministry to people in our congregation and community who
are going through difficult times in their lives. |

ChristCare Ministry
ChristCare
is a ministry where people can get to know one another in a
small group setting. ChristCare members spend time
building relationships and caring for one another,
studying God’s Word and applying it to daily life,
praying together and encouraging one another to grow as
Disciples of Christ. |

The House The House
is Chicago's only all youth and young adult Hip Hope
worship experience. The House involves spiritual
dancing, breakdancing, rap/freestyle session,
drama/skits, step groups, Christian rap groups and
powerful words from the Lord! |

Benevolence
LCC ministers to our neighbors by addressing both
physical and spiritual needs. Emergency assistance is
available for families in crises. Temporary housing for
homeless families is provided at the Samaritan House and
those in need may receive food from our food pantry. |

NA/AA Support Group
LCC offers a Christ-centered, 12 step support group
for both men and women who are renewing their lives and
overcoming addictions. The groups meet five days a week. |
 |
|
Ezra Homes Ezra Homes is a housing program of
United Power for Action and Justice of which we are
members. The goal is to build 300 brand new affordable
homes in Lawndale over the next two years. |

Lou Malnati's Lawndale
LCC has partnered with the Malnati's family to bring
Lawndale
a full service family restaurant committed to
reinvesting all of the profits back into the community. |
